Traxbean is a SaaS system that supports multiple map options. Whether our clients choose private deployment or opt for our SaaS services, they can select from various maps, including Google Maps, Bing Maps, Here.com, MapBox, OpenStreet Map, and others. The display quality of maps can vary among different map providers in different countries. In Russian-speaking countries, Yandex Maps is undoubtedly one of the best options, so we also support Yandex Maps.
Step 1. Select Yandex Map on Traxbean
After logging into Traxbean, click the icon in the upper right corner of the browser page to open the settings page. In the map settings, select Yandex Maps, and the map will load and take effect. Additionally, in the field next to the map selection, you can set the default center point of the map. Since Traxbean is a SaaS electronic monitoring system used by many clients from different countries, they hope to load maps they are familiar with after logging into the system. The format for the center point of the map is lat,lon, with latitude and longitude separated by a comma. After completing your settings, it is best to log out to ensure that all settings take effect.
Step 2. Get Yandex API key
Like Google Maps, Yandex Maps is not free. To use such a professional map long-term, you must obtain authorization from Yandex, which means getting a Yandex API key. You can log in to the Yandex Maps API website: [https://yandex.com/maps-api/](https://yandex.com/maps-api/), where you can register for an account and obtain your Yandex API key. After receiving your Yandex API key, please contact our engineers for assistance in using this API key in your account. Although Traxbean is a SaaS system, your API key will not be shared with other users; this key is solely yours and will not be used by any other clients.
