Does the device need a sim card? If yes who will supply the sim card?

It need to install a SIM card, which is usually provided by the customer. For the tamperproof models,we would install the SIM card in the device at the factory, seal the back cover with waterproof glue, and then ship it to the customer. We recommend you to use your local SIM card so that you can monitor the usage of SIM card data in the operator's system.

The devcie is not getting a correct location

1.Please take the device to the open sky to get GPS location, GPS is only working in open sky. 2.If your device is inside a building and there are WiFi hotspots around it, the device will attempt to obtain the WiFi location. The accuracy of WiFi location is usually worse than GPS, around 10-200 meters. 3.If you need to get precise location indoor, please contact us to get the beacon with indoor location features.

Why my device is offline?

Please refer to the following steps to check your device: 1. Please check if a SIM card that supports 4G is installed in the device. The SIM card needs to have GPRS enabled, data available, and unlocked the pin. Go to the SIM operator system to check if the SIM card is consuming data. 2. Press the button to check if the device's LED or screen are light. If the LED or screen are dark, long press the button to turn on the device. 3. Contact the SIM operator to get the APN parameters of the SIM. The device usually attempts to automatically adapt to the APN of the SIM, but if the automatic adaptation is failed, the device cannot connect to the server through the mobile communication network. You need set the APN for the device. Please contact us for the setting methods. 4. Check the server parameters. For devices with screens, the server parameters can be retrieved. For devices without screens, SMS commands can be sent to query the current server parameters.Please contact us for the SMS command.

How can you track the people if they go outside the geo-fenced location?

Which server we should use for presentation ?

We recommend that customers only use the demo system we provide during the prototype testing and presentation phase. Use your own private server for higher security and ownership of raw data in pilot and formal usage scenarios. We support deploying location systems on clients' private servers.

Is there a cost for install the tracking system in our own server?What’s the deployment service?

We would charge development cost and the fee is one-time. You will bear the cost of renting and maintaining the server and domain name yourself, and you can inquire with the local server supplier for pricing. The deployment service including: Services include: 1. Deploy the platform system on the server designated by the customer, support both physical and cloud server. 2. Bind the client's domain name and client's SSL certificate.Thinkrace would glad to help on applying SSL certificate for the client if he don't know how get it. 3. Customize login interface. 4. Configure the client's SMTP to send notification emails. 5. Integrate client's SMS gateway for SMS notifications. 6. The platform system does not limit the number of users and devices.The upper limit is determined by the client's server. 7. Unrestricted software usage period, debugging for lifetime with free. 8. A customized Android APK Installation package with free. 9. This price does not include development cost, server rental costs, map API costs, database license, firewall or antivirus software costs. 10. Use the client's own map API and third-party database account. If client request to integrate new APIs , development cost will be charged separately.

I have a project that requires customized development of software and hardware products. How should I start?

We suggest that you conduct the evaluation project in the following order of time and economic cost: 1. Test the hardware sample wirh standard version firmware and demo tracking system. 2. Collect project requirements and compare them with the functions of the hardware sample and demo system to determine the content that needs to be customized and modified. 3. Share the order quantity and schedule with us. We will estimate the development cost and time based on specific customization requirements and order quantities.
